About the Author

My name is Kellie Rose Kordinak and I am a senior student studying both History and Applied Communication at Kent State University Stark Campus. Since joining the Honors Program, I have been interested in human trafficking awareness and education surrounding the international issue. After becoming part of the Kent State Stark Anti-Human Trafficking Committee (AHTC) and collaborating with other nonprofit and qualified organizations, I saw the need to provide a digital, interactive resource for advocates, professionals, and interested audiences alike. Acknowledging the history behind human trafficking is essential to uncovering the past and ensuring a conscientious step forward in the future.
